Love Actually (2003)
First on our list of romantic Christmas movies has got to be Love Actually. With an all star cast, including Rowan Atkinson, you can’t beat this Richard Curtis movie for a feel good festive flick. There’s something for everybody as stories link and weave between one another. Is it Liam Neeson’s character struggling as a single dad or Hugh Grant’s version of the Prime Minister falling in love. You can’t beat his awesome speech too! Love Actually keeps delivering year after year and we love it!
The Holiday (2006)
Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet trade houses for the festive season and both find a little more than they bargained for. Broken hearts are soon mended and lives changed as they both find someone new to move forward with. Loads of falling in love and hilarious awkward moments. There’s an amazing performance from the late great Eli Wallach as well as a movie store cameo that you’ll miss if you blink!
It’s A Wonderful Life (1946)
Often ranked at the top of the Christmas movies list, It’s A Wonderful Life finds a down on his luck businessman see what the lives of those he loves would be life if he wasn’t around. A new lease on life is found and Christmas time turns out great. Can’t beat it!
Last Christmas (2019)
This is a fairly new film but has found it’s way onto the list. Emilia Clarke (yes, from Game Of Thrones!) is a Christmas store elf (in a year round shop!) who finds a man who is perhaps too good to be true. Emma Thompson is fantastic! As the title suggests, there is music from the legend that is George Michael.
A complete Christmas classic that children and adults of all ages love. When you’re not laughing, you’re pulled in by Buddy the Elf’s love for life as he tries to find his dad in New York City and falls head over heals for Jovie. “Santa! I know him!”
12 Dates Of Christmas (2011)
Amy Smart stars in the 12 Dates Of Christmas which is a bit of a festive twist on Groundhog Day. It also stars Zack from Saved By The Bell!
Four Christmases (2008)
Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn try their very hardest to survive four Christmases in one day! You thought your Christmas Day was hard, try visiting all four of divorced parents like this couple!
The Family Stone (2005)
